Review Short Story: A List of Lies

    The story begin in German, a woman spy namely Lily. She is hiding in a house from German soldiers. She escapes from the house by using a tunnel. later she goes to an old man's house. His name is David. She wants to hide, but David does not want to help her,  will lily manage to escape the pursuit of German soldiers?

    There are several characters in this story, the first main character is Lily, a brave and meticulous woman, she doesn't trust strangers easily. Then there are Nazis (German soldiers) who are very cruel, they are willing to kill innocent people to achieve their goals. There is also David, an old man who is asked for help by Lily, but David is a timid person. Then there is a character called the boss's errand boy, he has no name, and Lily's boss also has no name. They are big liars.

    I'm very interested in stories related to spies or action. And this story really entertained me, especially at the end of this story which has a layered plot twist, which is the part where Lily cleverly hides some files that her boss wants. Lily is very smart, she is very careful with others, even with her own boss.

I liked the part where Lily gave a fake gun to her boss's agent, to trick him. Then she took the real gun and shot the agent 3 times, he felt down on the ground. Then she immediately left on a motorcycle. In that part Lily is very cool.

    Some of the flaws that I encountered in this story are the very sudden beginning, maybe this can attract the attention of readers so that they are curious and continue reading until the end, but it is less efficient if the conflict presented at the beginning is too sudden and reaches the peak of the conflict, it should be added scenes before reaching the peak of the conflict.

In addition, some transitions from first person point of view to third person point of view seem uncomfortable to read and make some scenes ambiguous and difficult to understand.

    You should really read this story, you will really like the ending. In addition, the tension felt by the main character looks very real and some scenes are very exciting to read, you will not feel that it has reached the end, because the story presented is curious and flows just like that. Very suitable for people who don't like to read a lot of reading.
